IAVE

IMPORTANT: Scam warning from IAVE

We have had numerous reports of emails sent from IAVE President “Kylee Bates” seeking financial help for IAVE people who supposedly are traveling and are stuck at an airport in the Philippines. THESE EMAILS ARE NOT REAL. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM.

Whoever is doing this has set up a new Gmail address that looks like Kylee’s but it is not.

In the email, you are asked to call a phone number in the Philippines. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER.

We also have had reports of people receiving phone calls from someone pretending to be the person in trouble in the Philippines. Again, THESE CALLS ARE NOT LEGITIMATE.

DO NOT SEND MONEY TO ANYONE WHO WRITES TO YOU OR CALLS YOU AND CLAIMS TO BE REPRESENTING KYLEE OR IAVE.

If you receive such emails, please forward them to info@iave.org so we can keep track of them. If you receive phone calls, please let us know at info@iave.org.
