It has been an exciting year for Volunteering Australia, culminating in our successful conference in September.

The challenges to ensure that our sector is well represented across many important levels will continue to grow in 2009. Volunteering Australia, with the support of the state and territory network, will work hard to ensure volunteering is recognised and supported by all levels of government, and by the development of corporate partners where appropriate.

Please enjoy the festive season and note that our office will be closed from noon on Wednesday 24th December and re-open on January 5th 2009.
