Accommodation

Special conference accommodation rates have been organised for this event at the Conference venue.  Bookings are subject to availability and are only available by booking through the Conference Secretariat. Rooms will only be confirmed when a credit card guarantee is given. Payment in full is required upon check in.

The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park (Conference venue)

The recently refurbished rooms at The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park Melbourne are stylish and well appointed. The hotel overlooks the stunning Albert Park Lake and surrounding parkland as well as Port Phillip Bay. Rooms offer comfortable and convenient Melbourne accommodation close to St Kilda Road, Chapel Street and the Melbourne Central Business District. The hotel is well serviced by public transport.

Sebel Queen/Twin:  $185.00 per room per night

Citigate King/Twin:  $165.00 per room per night

Please note the following:

  • All room rates are based on a per room per night basis.
  • Accommodation will not be held unless you have registered for the conference.
  • The credit card details do not constitute payment for conference registration or accommodation. The details will be forwarded to The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park as a guarantee of payment and you will need to finalise room tariff and incidentals directly with the hotel.
  • No refunds will apply for accommodation cancellations where less than 7 days notice is given, the price of the full accommodation booking will be charged to your credit card.

Air Travel

Eventscentral has years of experience within the travel industry and can assist you with any or all of your travel requirements. Eventscentral can offer the advertised rate or any other discounted airfare. Changes or amendments after tickets are issued will incur a fee of $55 per change and any airline fees (conditions apply). Tickets will not be issued without prior payment (a purchase order does not constitute payment).

Insurance

Registration fees do not include personal travel insurance of any kind. We strongly recommend that if you are booking any travel, you should arrange a travel insurance policy to cover loss of luggage, cancellation charges, etc. The 13th National Conference on Volunteering, Eventcorp and Eventscentral take no responsibility for any loss or damage sustained by delegates in connection with the conference.
