Jean Kittson Announced for the 2016 National Volunteering Conference
Jean Kittson will bring her humour and quick wit to inform and entertain delegates at the 2016 National Volunteering Conference. Well known for her comedy debates for the ABC, Channel 9 and Channel 10, Jean will be delighting delegates as the emcee for the Gala Dinner. She will also facilitate the closing session of the Conference ‘The Great Debate: Which Generation Makes the Best Volunteer?’
With years of experience as an emcee, keynote speaker, panellist, debater and facilitator of conversations, Jean promises a great conference experience for delegates. She also brings with her a passion for volunteering.
Jean was a Founding Director of the National Cord Blood Bank, the inaugural Chair of the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation and a founding Ambassador for Ovarian Cancer Australia. She is currently an Ambassador for The Macular Disease Foundation, Northcott Disability Services, The Raise Foundation, Taldumande Youth Services and the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation. Jean is the Patron of Junction Works and most recently was appointed Patron of Palliative Care Nurses Australia.
