Imagining life without volunteers is something we would never want to consider – the beauty of the 2014 campaign is that it invites us to do just that.

- How would we recover from large-scale disasters without aid workers?
- How well would we heal without health and disability services?
- How would we live without education workers and environment conservation?
Many of us will be impacted by these challenges at some point in our lives and it would be very difficult to deal with them without the care and contribution of volunteers.
During National Volunteer Week 2014, we say thank you to every volunteer across the country for being there for us when we need them most.
