Volunteering Australia held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 12 November 2025. A key outcome of the AGM included the endorsement of the 2024-25 Annual Report and Financial Statements.
This year’s Annual Report is a record of Volunteering Australia’s achievements and service to the volunteering ecosystem across Australia. It highlights our impact over the last year, including playing a central role in ensuring volunteering is acknowledged and incorporated in Commonwealth policy frameworks.
- Celebrated a record-breaking National Volunteer Week with ‘Connecting Communities.’
- Launched Volunteering Gateway, a new national platform for Volunteer Managers that has already seen strong uptake and industry recognition.
- Contributed expert advice across multiple policy domains, securing important changes in the new Aged Care Act, shaping climate and environmental volunteering discussions, and ensuring volunteering is recognised in the Measuring What Matters framework.
- Strengthened Australia’s national and global presence, contributing to key policy reforms.
