“I had time to spare and decided it was time to give back to the community, assist where needed, meet new people, have a few laughs, and know that I am helping in some way. It marked a new chapter in my life, one that is very rewarding with never a regret.”
Advice to New Volunteers: “Bite the bullet and do it. It may be a little nerve-wracking initially as it is something new, but just be yourself and everything will be fine.”
