Molly Croft
New South Wales Finalist | Australian Volunteer of the Year
“Through courage, advocacy and lived experience, Molly Croft is helping young people and families feel seen, supported and connected during some of life’s hardest moments.”
About Molly Croft
Nineteen-year-old Molly Croft volunteers with Kids with Cancer Foundation, is co-founder of The Tie Dye Project, and is an ambassador for Stand Tall.
The impact of Molly’s volunteer work is deeply personal, especially for families who have lost a child to cancer, those currently navigating treatment, and those who may one day face a diagnosis.
After being diagnosed at 12 with a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer, Molly transformed her experience into meaningful community action. Through sharing her story, she provides something often missing in these journeys: understanding, hope and connection.
Molly volunteers her time to raise awareness of the challenges facing children and young people impacted by cancer. Through fundraising, advocacy and public speaking, she has helped raise more than $2 million for children’s charities. Her words are raw, honest and deeply inspiring, connecting with audiences across Australia.
Molly is also co-founder of The Tie Dye Project alongside Australian netballer Amy Parmenter, whom she met while in hospital. Together, they have raised more than $1 million for cancer research and family support.
As an ambassador for Stand Tall, Molly also speaks at events across Sydney and regional New South Wales, supporting conversations around mental health, resilience and hope.
Molly has been recognised as a State Volunteer of the Year recipient and is a finalist for the inaugural Australian Volunteer of the Year Award, presented during National Volunteer Week.
