National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and this year’s theme was Better Together. While National Volunteer Week may be over for another year volunteers make an enormous contribution to our community each and every day.
To continue the celebration of volunteering, we will be telling Better Together stories throughout the year as we continue to celebrate the power of volunteering to bring people together, build communities and create a better society for everyone. We will highlight stories that demonstrate that volunteering is changing communities for the better.
Together, through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better. We are, Better Together.
If you would like to submit an idea for a Better Together story, please email the Volunteering Australia Communications Team.
